2 posts in one day... what?

People!

I need to chanel this lovely lady:
Our holiday party is next week and our theme is Mexican? I am not sure if it's Mexican or we may have Mexican food, but either way, I always dress up when it's optional. 

So in honor of an artist that I greatly admire, I need to really do Frida right. 

IDEAS??!! I need to be VERY frugal.

    I have studied many pics of her and I can not wait to make the head piece. I think I am going to wear this with a really pretty scarf/wrap.

    Confession: I have never seen the movie. I want to. I love her art and I had an art teacher who really was a Frida enthusiast.
