OOTD: Day at the beach with some amazing ladies

I have come to the conclusion that I do not take advantage of my California coast enough, so when I was invited to join some lovely ladies who I know through blogging and through little connections I have made over the past couple years, I jumped at the chance! It was really amazing getting to know these 3 ladies who I very much admire and respect. I am truly a "girl's girl" and after the past few weeks, this little adventure was very needed.

We decided to head down to Santa Monica Beach which feels like it's in the heart of Los Angeles. Perfect picturesque beaches, palm tree lined streets full of great shopping and little cafe's and tons of visitors. It took us a while to find parking and we had a bit of a hike to and from the beach, but it was well worth it.

Someone needs a pedicure...

I love my bangs, but they are incapable of looking sexy blowing in the wind. LOL

It was a bit of a hike back up to the car, so we took a few "picture" breaks! You should always enjoy the journey right?

(By the way, how beautiful are these women? I love positive people, I love people who love themselves and make those around them feel loved. It is so important to love ourselves. Whatever size you are, whatever size that you strive to be, you need to love yourself RIGHT now. I am on a big health kick and really trying to get to a healthier place, but no matter what - I am happy right now in my skin.)

When I got home, I realized that I did not take a super cute OOTD pic, so I made my hubs snap a few in our entry way. To continue on with my new OOTD theme of placing my body in places that I would wear this outfit, I decided to keep it real and use some great picture of Santa Monica State Beach. Enjoy!
