OOTD: Nothing wrong with the classics

Happy almost end of Tuesday to you!

Boy, I am already looking forward to the weekend. I love a busy workday and going to work is like getting to hang out with friends all day, but getting out of bed had been so hard this week. My husband and I are two ships passing in the night during the week sometimes. He works late afternoon to really early in the morning, so most days he comes home and waits for my alarm to go off at 5:30AM. I normally hit the snooze button once,  jump into the shower and then hurry down to greet my handsome husband while he greets me with a cup of strong coffee. I LOVE those mornings! This week he has been tired, so he has come home from work then come straight to bed. While, I love him snuggling up to me at 3AM, we do not get to have our mornings. SO when my early alarm goes off, the last thing I want to do is leave the warm bed.

Ah well, don't you love a mundane anecdote?

This is what I wore Monday:

My photag friend, Sunnie, was not at work to take my picture, so I had to grab a different friend. I had her sneak one in our shoe closet before a bunch of our co-workers came back from a meeting.
Black Cami: Torrid
Skinny Jeans: Torrid (I bought them in the short length because I wanted them to hit at ankle length. I am 5'8 FYI)
Oxford Shoes: Torrid
Belt: Torrid
Necklace: And original by my dear friend Alison (The beads are a beautiful, deep jade color.)

There you have it! On a side note, I have been seeing the below pattern around alot lately and I was pretty sure that this print dyed in 2008. Is it the scent of spring that calls to the fair maidens that flock to this speciaaaal print? Well, it needs to stop. Unless you are wearing it to a Jersey Shore night club...   BURN it!

  9. The print is cute! If you have extra curves it shouldn't be worn though.
